Have you ever been scared of a fear? Have you ever wanted to conqueror a fear, but you were to scared to face it? Well in the story "Deep Water" this is what happened about W. Douglas's fear of water.
This story actually made me feel that I was actually underwater gasping for air when Douglas described his fear of drowning. His great fear of water made me think of my fear with Coyotes. I feel the same lack of power and paralyzing fear for coyotes as he did with water. I was always scared of water because they always tried to attack my dog Copper.
I slowly soon started to conqueror my fear by easily accepting coyotes in my backyard and the fear started to go away. William O. Douglas conquered his fear by going to the pool each day and taking swimming lessons.
This short story will appeal to anyone who had a fear and wants to conqueror it.
