 Albino Conditions

When I stepped onto the soccer field ready for an ordinary soccer practice, my coach started to talk and behind him I saw a white squirrel with red eyes. I thought to myself, what the heck is that? So later I found out that it was an albino squirrel. I also  found out that any other creature known to man can get albinism. It interested me much that I decided to do a project on it.

Have you ever seen a person before that has albino conditions? If you have you would notice that they have very pale skin, white hair, and pink eyes. Don't get scared though.  Albinism is a disease caused by the genes in you're family. These creatures  are very allergic to the sun and often they can't see well or they can't see at all. Albinism is not contagious nor can you get after you're born. Albinism is dangerous for the creature to. They are more likely to get cancer as well as physical problems. Creatures with albinism may stay with the disease or others can increase pigment. With exposure to the sun albino people may develop freckles, moles, and the ability to tan. Sometimes albino people could have some color in their eyes or hair depending on how much pigment they have. People who are white have less pigment in their skin than darker people so that doesn't mean that we are albino.

So who knew that one soccer practice, seeing a squirrel that was albino inspired me to do a big project. Also don't be scared if you see an albino creature they just have less pigment then other creature, they cause no harm.
